Chain Drive The chain drive system uses a roller chain, or drive chain, over a sprocket gear to convey power and drive the rotation of the reel. This method provides high power and strength
for heavier cable and hose. Many different chain pitch sizes and options are available. The chain drive feature is available with most motor types. Contact the engineered products group for more information.

Gear Drive The gear drive option uses a system of gears to rotate and power the reel. The main advantages of a gear drive system are their smaller dimensions, higher efficiency, longer life, greater dependability and lack of slippage.

Vertical Bevel Crank The bevel crank option uses two toothed gears that interact with each other to transform the motion of the handle to turn the reel. The vertical configuration of the crank handle
allows for overhead mounting of the reel. This reel is constructed of 304 stainless steel with a twin line 304 stainless 1" fluid path rated at 3000 P.S.I.
