Adjust Guide Opening Position — Step-by-Step
For Series 5000 Reels
Steps:
- Pull the hose out of the guide opening and latch the reel so it stays extended.
- Remove the four nyloc nuts from the reel cover.
- Take the cover off and rotate the enclosure to your desired position.
- Reinstall the cover and tighten the four nyloc nuts.

For Series 7000 Reels
Steps:
- Pull the hose out of the guide opening and latch the reel so it stays extended.
- Remove the four nuts on the base.
- Take off the cover and remove the rubber inserts.
- Choose the new guide position and reinstall the rubber inserts in the slots you want to use.
- Put the cover back on the studs in the new position and tighten the four nuts.

- Latch the hose fully before starting — this prevents the reel from retracting while you work.
