How to Fix a Latched Out Reel
A latched-out reel is when you can’t pull the hose or cord forward anymore or retract it back in because it’s locked in position. To fix this, you’ll need to disengage the latch to allow the reel to retract.

How to Identify if you Need a Pivot Base or Swing Bracket
Anytime you are pulling your hose or cord at an angle greater than 45 degrees against the roller guide, it is recommended to have either a 340-degree pivot base or a swing bracket depending on the location your reel is mounted.
